Pearl Sunrise - Instructor
Finger weaving is a traditional technique used by Native Americans throughout the United States. This is a four week session introducing you to the basics of finger weaving. Sessions will focus on practicing your technique by weaving bookmarks, key chains, and necklaces. Projects with advanced skills will include weaving a belt.

Pearl Sunrise (Navajo) is a third generation weaver and instructor at The Institute of American Indian Arts in traditional weaving, beading and Navajo language. She has been creating her finely crafted weavings since the age of 8. At this year’s Santa Fe Indian Market she will be recognized for her lifetime contribution to Indian arts and culture.
