BALLOON FLIGHTS
Your flight will take you up to heights that will give you an unobstructed view of the Rio Grande Valley. Our flights take place at sunrise when the wind conditions are most favorable. We can pick you up at your hotel or you are welcomed to meet us near our launch site.

Join in on the excitement of the inflation or sit back and photograph the whole event. Lift off is so gentle, most people don't realize that they have left the ground. Once in the air you are welcomed to ask your pilot any question that comes to mind.

There are many wonders to explore from the air. When flying over the Rio Grande River you may see bird's nests on the islands, porcupines in the trees or even the "beaver's dens". The desert offers it's own wildlife of coyotes, bobcats, fox and roadrunners. When we climb up to 1,000-1,500 feet you can see all the way to the mountains sitting on the Colorado border.

Our pilots each have over 2,000 flight hours of experience. The landing will either be as gentle as your lift-off or very exhilarating (but safe) depending on the wind conditions.

Your balloon adventure will last approximately three hours with actual flight time of about one hour, followed by a champagne continental breakfast. You will also be ceremoniously inducted as an aeronaut after the "Balloonist Prayer" is recited.

What to Wear and Bring:

• Dress comfortably for outdoor activity.
• Wear appropriate footwear for walking in the desert.
• Early mornings can be cool, layered clothing is best.
• Dresses, shorts or sandals are not recommended.
• It is only 3 degrees cooler per 1,000 feet, if you are comfortable on the ground, you will be fine in the air.
• Bring cameras, video equipment and a hat if you are tall.
