Gruet Winery

Over the past twenty years, Gruet Winery of New Mexico has earned an international reputation for producing superb sparkling and still wines from vineyards in southern New Mexico, where the sandy-loam soil and sunny days produce the perfect environment for growing Chardonnay and Pinot Noir grapes.

Originating from the Champagne region in France, The Gruet family founded its first Champagne House and vineyards in 1952. With limited opportunity for expansion in France, the family sought to establish a second winery and came to the United States in 1981.
