The Garden Gift Shop carries film, gifts, garden tools and souvenirs. No personal food or lunches may be brought into the buildings. Services offered include: School groups may order gift grab bags to be picked up when they visit the garden. Groups renting the garden may request the gift shop stay open during their event.

Hours: 10:30 am to 5pm daily. Extended hours on Saturdays and Sundays during the summer to 6pm.

The Garden currently encompasses 36 developed acres, including a 10,000 square foot glass conservatory housing native and exotic plants from desert and Mediterranean climate zones and the seasonal PNM Butterfly Pavilion featuring hundreds of free-flying North American butterflies and moths. (The butterfly pavilion is closed October through most of May.) Walking distance through the aquarium and garden is about 1.6 miles.

Tickets are sold every day from 9am to one-half hour before closing.

Aquarium and Garden only

* $7 for Adults13 - 64 years
* $3 for Seniors 65 and older
* $3 for Children 3 - 12 years

Combo Admission to the Aquarium, Garden and Zoo

Same day combo tickets to visit all three facilities are sold until 12 noon every day. After 12 noon, there is generally not enough time to see all three facilities. Combo tickets include unlimited train rides on the Rio Line , which travels between the Aquarium/Garden and the Zoo, and the Thunderbird Express, which makes a loop around the Zoo. Combo tickets may be purchased exclusively from cashiers located at the front entrances of the aquarium, botanic garden and zoo.

* $5 for children 3-12.

Reciprocal Agreements with Other Institutions

Half-price admission to the Aquarium/Garden is offered to members of certain other gardens, aquarium and zoos across the US. These institutions also offer discounts to New Mexico BioPark Society Leaving www.cabq.gov, click for disclaimer members; however because participation in this program is voluntary, it is recommended members contact the institution prior to visiting.
