User Profiles

Today (July 7th, 2007), I am going to be taking down the old profile system and upgrading it to a new system. This is actually a process that will not change much just at the moment, as it is mostly in the background, though the user profiles will not be visible for a short time. No information will be lost and in fact I will be adding some new profile information. The changes will make it so that users may be searched easier and user profiles will be more fluid.

That is great idea. there are some bottlenecks in the present system specially when we want to search a user using his user name. It gives lot of erroneous results. So I hope all these issues will be rectified with the new system.
