About:

Jeff and Chris have been composing music together for 10 years. Originally from Detroit, they have been in over 12 different bands, and preformed many styles from hardcore death metal to tango to punk. In 2002 they realized it was time for something truly different, so they packed up and headed west to New Mexico, in an 91 Ford Mustang, with only their equipment, clothes, and a measly $100. The boys, with the help of a drum machine and few shiny buttons, created Vertigo Venus shortly after their arrival in Albuquerque. Since that fateful summer the boys have recorded and released an album along with performing an inhuman amount of shows. Their unusual clashing of music and personality is quickly getting recognized in the New Mexico music scene. Their style is a fresh mix of metal, techno and punk delivered by an iron plated sissy-slap to the groin. This unique sound is accompanied by an intense live show that can only be described as pure insanity. Jeff climbs on top of his keyboard and plays a solo one-handed without looking, and Chris (being a true rocker) bangs his head into a blur, throw in a few strobe lights and its seizures for all! Vertigo Venus is in your face, and out of this world.
